With the amount of K-Pop groups debuting in each year, it is definitely becoming challenging for K-Pop idols to rise in fame unless they have a hit track or something special about them that catch the eyes of public.

It is especially important for the idols to communicate and interact with fans. Hence, many K-Pop fans love it when their favorite idols spend time having V-Live sessions or even Instagram live.

In addition, when idols are not in their promotional period, they would also provide fans with numerous online contents or even events to keep them 'busy'.

Not long ago on an online community, one netizen had pointed out the inactivity of iKONand even shared data to prove his or her point.

The netizen claimed that he or she is an iKONIC for the past 7 years and shared a graph of the number of time the members posted on the paid fancafe, KONICZONE. The last post from the member recorded back in June 22.

Many could see that the data was taken from the end of April 2018 to mid May 2020, leaving them to be surprised.

For those who are wondering, the names from top to bottom reads Kim HanBin / B.I (12), Kim JinHwan (8), Kim JiWon (5), Song YoonHyung (65), Goo JunHoe (4), Kim DongHyuk (42), Jung ChanWoo (9), staff (94).

Some mentioned that it seemed like only 2 members are active in trying to communicate with the fans.

Adding on, the netizen pointed out that since the start of 2020, iKON had done a total of 28 V-Lives. However, out of 17 times, it was done by member YoonHyung. Aside from YoonHyung, other members who had done the V-Live had usually kept it around 20 minutes.

Lastly, the netizen also mentioned that one of the most recent selfies which was uploaded on ChanWoo's Instagram was only uploaded because of the promise which he had done with fans.

Many of iKONIC hoped that the members will communicate with them more through various platforms.

Reading the post, many netizens had also shared their opinions, mentioning that it seemed like iKONIC was only able to learn about the current updates of the idols through the news media.

Another pointed out that their inactivity is not because of B.I. who had left the group as they were already like this before. B.I. had left iKON back in 2019 due to his controversy of drug usage which was later proven to be negative.

Some also suggested that maybe there is a chance that YG is limiting them from using their social media due to various reasons.

Not long ago, it was reported that members JunHoe and JinHwan had suffered from a minor car accident.

What do you think of the situation?
