JUST B is back for the first time since their debut with their 1st single album "JUST BEAT" and the title track 'TICK TOCK' released on Oct. 27.
It has been four months since DY, Geonu, JM, Bain, Lim JiMin, and SangWoo debuted with the album "JUST BURN" and title track 'DAMAGE' produced by Bang YongGuk. Their debut music video gathered more than 13 million views on the official channel, and the Studio Choom's video of 'DAMAGE' has more than 1 million views. They are one of the rookies that have been catching the attention of K-Pop fans this year.

"JUST BEAT" is composed of three songs, the title track 'TICK TOCK' and the B-sides 'Vindicated' and 'Try'.

For this comeback with "JUST BEAT", members have an all-black fashion for their concept pictures. Fans would have noticed the code, butterflies, and mysterious white masks tightly linked to their storyline.

Kpopmap was invited to the press showcase held on Oct. 27, and here is what you should know. During the showcase, members were dressed in all-black outfits and they performed to 'TICK TOCK' and 'Try', living up to their name of good performers. Don't miss out HD exclusive pictures here.
Members talked about the fact that they had a different type of nervousness with this release compared to their debut release. Also, members did not forget to thank ONLY B (and also overseas ONLY B) for their love and support during and after their debut. They hope that many people enjoy their performance.

During these 4 months between the two releases, members explained how hard they tried to improve and upgrade themselves. They worked on their individual skills and colors but also the group's colors. For example, SangWoo mentioned that he did many sports to keep a healthy body and mind because it is important. JM monitored his debut and worked hard on what he wanted to improve.

Also during these 4-month gaps, they filmed their reality show "JUST B’s Baam Escape" where they showed themselves behind the scenes. The show received a lot of attention from overseas fans. Members were asked if they wanted to do a season 2 or any TV shows they wanted to appear in.
First, they thanked ONLY B and overseas ONLY B for their love for the reality show and would love to do a season 2 if they have the opportunity. As for the TV shows they would like to appear in JM mentioned "Amazing Saturday" because he really likes and listens to K-Pop, and he would like to go with the members on "Weekly Idol".

JUST B showed two different types of passion with their releases. For "JUST BURN", they had an external fiery passion with red flames, but for "JUST BEAT" they have more internal anger with stronger blue flames, which shows another type of passion. With "JUST BURN" they delivered the message of longing for a new world and with "JUST BEAT" they talk about internal anger that one needs to overcome.
The key items of this comeback are clocks, butterflies, and masks. The point choreography is linked to the clocks.

Kpopmap asked about the things that are different and what they focused on more than their debut album.
They added to what they said earlier by saying that they paid more attention to the details, including the concept and the objects. In addition, the lyrics include the emotions they feel during love that are very diverse in this album.
Also, members have chains on their hands as they use their hands a lot in this choreography. They worked on this new album until the details and on showing a more mature image.

The movie-like trailer of "JUST BEAT" ended with the sentence "YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT THE PERSON WHO NEVER GIVES UP" which overseas fans loved. The YouTube videos comments section is filled with talks for this sentence, so we have asked the members if there were any members that they ever experienced such as thing.
Bain mentioned that he trained for more than 5 years and that he did not give up. Therefore he could completely relate to that sentence. He also mentioned that all the members also never gave up and are now part of JUST B.
SangWoo added that for him, he worked hard on difficult choreography movements and never gave up. At some point, he realized that he could do these movements because he did not give up. He manages to do these dances by practicing a lot and so it also matches this sentence.

Members were asked if they have met with idols they know from audition programs while promoting as JUST B on music shows. DY -who is a former 1THE9 member- mentioned that he met OMEGA X's YeChan because they debuted at a similar time and that he did not meet WEi's JunSeo on music shows but that he contacts him often (both also from 1THE9).
Geonu -who previously was with ENHYPEN members on "I-LAND"- mentioned that he met ENHYPEN members during a content video. He remembered the past time they spent together but didn't have much time to talk with them.

Next, members were asked to choose a visual member that suits this concept the most. Bain chose JM and DY chose Lim JiMin.

Kpopmap asked the members if they had any messages or plans to meet overseas ONLY B because they have not been able to meet them because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
DY answered that they would like to be in front of ONLY B and that they are sad not to be able to meet. They have been communicating a lot online with fans and even had an event called JUST L BOX recently to show their love to fans.
Members are sad not to be able to meet fans, and they are working hard with this album to pay back the love of fans.

We could feel that JUST B is more mature and is well-prepared to gain even more fans with their new release.
