The moment we've been waiting for is finally here. JUST B has officially debuted and we couldn't be any more excited. Last week, we threw our guesses with regards to what we were expecting from the debut of JUST B.

What we didn't guess was that JUST B was going to bring it hard and blow our minds and of course, deliver more than what we ever could have imagined. This is easily one of the best debuts of the year and we're already hyped to see what JUST B have in store for us next.

JUST B's debut album dropped on the 30th of June, 2021 and is already racking up major attention from fans and critics worldwide. The group has the freshness of rookies and the advantage of a polished preparation, which is exactly what is setting them apart.

        Concept

The concept of this album is evident from the name itself: "Just Burn". Fired up with passion, ambition, hopes and dreams for the future, JUST B is here to make a change in the system, demolish it and create their own. Not only does this carry revolutionary energy but it's also an incredibly smart way to make a lasting impression.

From the concept photos that were released, it is clear that JUST B is prefacing the calm before the storm. There is a stillness to the concept photos (as pictured above) but the members' gaze, shot at multiple directions, show that they know exactly what they're doing and that they have all bases covered. The music video makes the concept even clearer as the members are seen initially trapped in the system and later preparing to overthrow it. The rugby concept, as seen in the music video, is also a novel attempt. The production value of the music video is very obviously brilliant and it is only amplifying excitement for the group's future endeavors.

        Fashion and Appearance

In the concept photos that were released, a distinct theme comes across when it comes to fashion. Monochrome suits prevail, once in black with accents of gold and then again with all red. They give off a sensual yet intense feel and as always, do the job of making the audiences anticipate their stage performances and music video. In the music video, we also see the members in rugby uniforms, which brings out their masculine charm even more. Another outfit they're seen sporting is a simple white shirt and white trousers, which symbolize the blandness of being trapped.

        Dance

The choreography of 'Damage' is highly lyrical and incredibly intense, capable of drawing an audience in with just a glance. There are multiple key points that make up for the addictive quotient of the song. One of the key highlights of the choreography of 'Damage', comes through with the rain dance. It has been a while since we've seen this from a K-Pop group and needless to say it is just as alluring and effective. What's interesting is that the dance looks twice as good live as it does in the music video.

"Just Burn" is made up of 5 tracks, spanning 16 minutes and 16 seconds. Most of the tracks are composed, written and produced by Ye-Yo! (Yeyosound) and Laser but it holds the unique identity of JUST B. The songs are titled, 'Get Away', 'Damage', 'My Way', 'Doube Dare' and 'Deja Vu', carrying a coherent sentiment of revolution and breaking free from the dark towards light. A pleasant surprise that we found out about only after 'Damage' was released was that B.A.P's Bang YongGuk also participated in the production of the song, imparting his own classic touch to it.
