The drama was watched for a total of 9,920,000 hours from June 27 to July 3. It also entered the top 10 chart of the most popular TV shows in 13 countries: Nigeria, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. In addition, according to FlixPatrol, the drama was also the 8th most-watched TV show in the world on Netflix as of July 6, 2022.

The epic fantasy romance K-Drama fans have been waiting for since 2021, "Alchemy of Souls" is finally here and we could not be more excited. Starring Jung SoMin, Lee JaeWook, Hwang MinHyun, Oh My Girl's Arin, Yoo InSoo, and Shin SeungHo, "Alchemy of Souls" tells the story of a shadow assassin, Naksu (Go YoonJung), whose powerful soul is housed in the body of a lowly peasant girl named MuDeok.
