ADER error is a South Korean fashion label that is on the rise.
The meaning of their name can be deconstructed as ‘Aesthetic Drawing + ER (people, ex: gamer, doer, killer, smoker, etc.)’. The ‘error’ is to embrace the idea of growing with trial and error, and also achieving perfection or better results through accidental errors. The way that this fashion label utilizes an extremely diverse palette of colors is amazing. And additionally, their editorial and lookbook photography is not only artistic but downright thought-provoking as well.
Based on the designs we’ve seen on their homepage, their designs are mainly based on a mixture of casual and streetwear mixed with occasional formal wear that has been tailored to have a boxy and loose fit. The way their collection pieces mix and match well while playing with diverse color palettes allow their clothing to be worn with more flexibility with any other clothing.
Their recent fall and winter release has an interesting play with plaid and tartan checkered patterns.
ADER error’s 2017 fall and winter collection utilizes not only the plaid and tartan checkered patterns effectively, but also pastel-like colors as well.
To get a better idea of ADER error’s current design concept and direction, they seem to be incorporating elements of British casual-wear and traditional American prep-school looks into urban silhouettes.
They are arguably by far the most well put together and original fashion label to emerge recently and have created a solid foundation for themselves for future expansion.
