The annual Dream Concert is coming up real soon for 2016. Each year, Dream Concert holds a K-Pop festival for fans to come watch performances, participate in fan club activities and cheer for their oppas and unnies. The fandom participation is very crucial to the annual event, in both number and energy. It’s to the point that netizens call Dream Concert as a place not for performances, but for fandoms to come show off who has the most passionate energy for their K-Pop idols.
We’ve gathered a collection of fandom color seas from previous Dream Concerts. Take a look to see which fandoms showed up to cheer for their boos!
1. EXO & EXO-L – White
EXO has certainly made an impressive progress since their debut in 2012. During their first Dream Concert in 2013, the EXO-Ls were took up only a small corner of the stadium. However, just a year later, EXO-Ls had taken over half of the 2nd floor. What’s more, in 2015, there were too many EXO-Ls that they didn’t have enough room, so EXO-Ls were seen scattered all around the stadium! Their LED light sticks had literally taken over the stadium.
2013 – Tenno
2014 – Instiz

2. SHINee & SHINee World (ShaWol) – Pearl Aqua Green
SHINee has now become a regular at the Dream Concerts. It’s rare for the pearl aqua green sea to be missing at the annual events. Although there has been talk about town how TWICE’s color was too similar to SHINee’s, but either way, we love to see the Pearl Aqua Green. Key had also expressed his gratitude to his fans at the recent concert with a picture of the ShaWol’s glow sticks!

3. Girls’ Generation (SNSD) & SONE – Pastel Rose Pink
Another common colored sea within the Dream Concert world, SNSD’s pastel rose pink light sticks are always front and center. If SNSD is on the lineup, your best bet is that SONEs will be in charge of the center 2nd floor. SONEs have always shown their undying love for their girls as they’re always one of the largest fanclubs to attend. SNSD’s last Dream Concert was in 2014 as a 9 member group with Jessica. Since then, they have yet to make an appearance again. Unfortunately, the girls were not listed as a part of the lineup for this year either.

4. INFINITE & Inspirit – Metal Gold Pearl
A sea of yellow can be similar to other fanbases, such as BIG BANG’s VIP, but Inspirits have come a long for them and they’re not turning back. Once, way back when, INFINITE was without a signature light stick, but the Inspirits couldn’t let the boys down! They made their own ‘light’ sticks by inserting gold lights into balloons. Since then, INFINITE has made their ‘YeoBong (a play on word for ‘Honey’)’ and the Inspirits have been waving that metal gold pearl color at every dream concert!

5. GOT7 & IGOT7 – White
Although a relative rookie to the Dream Concert venue, IGOT7s make sure that their oppas know they’re here to support them. GOT7 has yet to decide on an official fanclub color, but their white light sticks can be found overflowing the Dream Concert arenas! Considering that they have only debuted only a year ago, IGOT7s have sure made a name for themselves!
6. Red Velvet & TBA – TBA
The Red Velvet girls have yet to confirm a fandom name or color, but rumors flutter around. Some prospective names are Black Forest, CupCake, RuVy, and more. Their color has yet to be decided either between peach, rainbow, etc. Even with so much in the air, the Red Velvet fans don’t let it get in the way! Before RV even had a light stick, the fans brought in rainbow colored dusters to represent the different colors of the girls. But fans rejoice, because the latest light stick for Red Velvet has been revealed, and the color is gorgeous. The stick features a mix of each member’s specific color, making it even more special!
7. BEAST & Beauty – Dark Gray
Just as lovers do special events for each other, Beautys have surprised the boys at the 20th anniversary concert. During the BEAST performance, the fanclub had written out ∀Σ ♡ ∀Σ with their glow sticks. The greek letters derives from the groups’ name spelled in Korean. 비스트 = ㅂㅅㅌ = ∀ΔΣ The members had expressed in an interview afterwards that all they could see was the beautiful letters spelled out in dark gray during their performance. How can BEAST not love these adorable Beautys?
8. VIXX & Starlight – TBA
Starlights shine bright all day all night. Was that too much? Either way, the loyals of VIXX have sure come a long way. Within just a few years, Starlights have been able to take over 1/4 of the 2nd floor! Unfortunately, VIXX has yet to have an official color, but the boys still receive all the love that they need from Starlights waving that white/blue V!
9. B1A4 & BANA – Pastel Apple Lime Green
You gotta have a funky light stick for these crazy boys, B1A4! B1A4 has one of the most unique light sticks among the K-Pop groups. The fans had once started with lime green balloons, then transitioned into lime green bulbs, and now the official light stick for B1A4 features a hilariously cute skull. Wave those pastel apple lime green skulls proud, BANAs!
10. Super Junior & ELF – Pearl Sapphire Blue
The Kings of Dream Concerts, Super Junior and ELFs have taken over Dream Concerts with each attendance. The love for the Super Junior boys are strong as anytime the SJ boys are in town, the ELFs flood the arena with their pearl sapphire blue. Even when they were not on the lineup for 2015, LeeTeuk had taken the role as the main MC, bringing ELFs to town that day too. Although they may be considered veterans now, even back a few years, almost 50% of the stadium was ELFs!
