JYP Entertainment has produced some of K-Pop’s most prominent and successful girl groups. Their current trainees have a lot of promising potentials and possibly have what it takes to continue the legacy.
From Wonder Girls, Miss A, and now to TWICE, it’s quite impressive if you think about the success of all three groups. Park JinYoung really seems to know what he’s doing and it’s no wonder rival and long-time friend Yang HyunSuk of YG Entertainment seems slightly butter-faced in some moments. Here are the trainees that are currently attracting the interest and attention of K-Pop fans at the moment.
Probably the most well-known idol trainee on this list, Jeon SoMi’s charming and bubbly personality, stage performance, artistic sense, and eye-popping beautiful visuals all contribute to the immense interest she has been attracting from fans.
The second most well-known upcoming idol is most likely actress Shin EunSoo, who appeared on ‘Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned‘ with actor Kang DongWon. We can’t wait to see what she does after debuting as an idol.
After blowing away the audience on MIXNINE, Shin RyuJin has shown us that she is built to do what she does on stage. Her beauty is also undoubtedly another attention-grabbing factor and there seems to be much promising potential within her. And not to mention, she has an uncanny resemblance to Son NaEun.
Another upcoming idol and MIXNINE trainee. SunMin’s cute charm has really captured our hearts. Although she wasn’t able to make it past the knockout stages in MIXNINE, we believe she is another upcoming idol to keep a close watch on in the near future.
Hailing from Victoria, Australia, Lily M is known for her appearance in KPopStar. Showing an impressive vocal range and goddess-like visuals, we can safely guess she could potentially take on the role of a leader in an upcoming JYP Entertainment girl group.
We’ve seen her from a reality show from JYP Entertainment. Her visuals are definitely on-point but unfortunately, her young age will probably make us wait a little longer for her debut.
Park JinYoung himself has personally complimented and praised her for her dance skills. She has a slight SoHee vibe from Wonder Girls.

Lai GuanLin (17 years old)
Voted 7th place during the second season of “Produce 101,” GuanLin is currently promoting alongside project group Wanna One as a rapper. Born and raised in Taiwan, the singer is popular not only for his dancing skills and strong visuals, but his ability to speak Chinese, Korean, and English.
Yoo SeonHo (16 years old)
Although he did not make it as far as GuanLin did on “Produce 101,” SeonHo was able to gain plenty of attention during his stint on the program. The two showed their teamwork and adorable chemistry while appearing together on the show – particularly winning over fans with their cover dance of “Troublemaker.”
Jo WooChan (13 years old)
WooChan may not have been on “Produce 101” like the others, but he certainly has experience making waves on a competition program. The 13-year-old rapper appeared as a contestant on “Show Me The Money 6,” where he wowed the judges with his innate talent for rhyming at such a young age.
So far, these three members are the only ones confirmed to be a part of the group. However, Cube Entertainment has expressed the intention to add further members to the line-up via audition. Are you excited to see the group finally make their debut?

Stray Kids Profile: The Male Version of TWICE & Mnet’s SIXTEEN from JYP Entertainment
After “Produce 101 “ season 1 made a big success, it was natural for fans to expect the next season as it was natural for the producers to make the next season with a little difference than the first. The simplest difference a such programs could have was “changing the gender”. Though the program only changed their genders of the competitor, it turned out something completely different from the first season.
Another successful reality competition program was “SIXTEEN“, a program collaborated by JYP Ent. and Mnet. As a result of the program, we were able to enjoy TWICE’s debut and stages afterwards. Since the program was a huge hit, again, it was quite natural of JYP and Mnet to do it over with a different gender.
Stray Kids isn’t just the name of the debuting group from JYP. It’ the reality competition program itself. After going through the program, chosen boys will be able to debut as idols. Their teaser of ‘Hellevator’ was released and gather great many attention. The group was named as “Stray Kids” because they want to show music that isn’t tied up to anything like fashions or certain forms. Also, the group’s image is going to be being super carefree and wild.
The very first episode of Stray Kids is to be aired on October 17th. on Mnet at 11:oo p.m. (KST).
Now, I am sure everyone is curious about who will be joining and what they are like. So, why don’t you look deep into their profile first before you watch the program!
