The K-Pop scene has quite a few multi-cultural individuals who represent different nations all over the world. While K-Pop may have originated within South Korea, some of the idols who represent the scene have diverse backgrounds.
In fact, K-Pop has become such a popular and widespread phenomenon that even non-Koreans are beginning to show more interest in becoming a K-Pop idol.
Below are a few K-Pop idols who have multiple citizenships.
Former I.O.I member Jeon SoMi has three different citizenships. She has passports for the following three countries: Canada, Netherlands, and South Korea. While she was born in Canada, she began growing up in South Korea. South Korea issues a passport to anyone who began living in the country within a six month time frame since they were born.
The BLACKPINK member was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia. She has a Korean passport as well because her parents are Korean. She is a citizen of New Zealand and South Korea.
Jae was born in Argentina and grew up in the US. The Day6 member is a citizen of both Argentina and the US.
She is a citizen of both the Philippines and the US as her parents are Filipino and she grew up in the US.

Amber is both a citizen of the US and Taiwan. Her parents are Taiwanese and she grew up in the US.
She was born in the US but is also a Korean citizen because her father held a Korean passport during the time of her birth.
