Chani is a member of the Korean idol group SF9 and an actor.

He made his debut in 2009 by appearing in "Queen Seon Duk", and since then he has been steadily acting as a leading actor and supporting actor in several works.
The dramas he appeared on before his debut in SF9 were "Can You Hear My Heart " (2011), "The Innocent Man" (2012), "To The Beautiful You" (2012), "The Queen's Classroom" (2015), and "Splendid Politics" (2015).

After this, in 2016, Chani also made his debut as an idol as a member of SF9. His works include dramas such as "SKY Castle" (2018), "Love as You Taste" (2019), "True Beauty" (2020), and "Must You Go?"(2021).
