"K-Pop Star 4" Katie Kim Reported To Have Sign A Contract With American Label, AWAL

Solo artist, Katie Kim or also known as Katie, has signed an exclusive contract with American recording label, AWAL.

On Apr. 5, it was announced by the AXIS Entertainment that Katie has recently signed a contact with American recording label, AWAL. It is expected that AWAL will be aiding in her promotion in the U.S.

For those who did not know, AWAL also houses global music artists such as Lauv, Madison Beer, Rex Orange County, Little Simz, Dinah Jane, Kevin Garrett and so on.

Through Katie's win on SBS "K-Pop Star 4", she had debuted with a solo single 'Remember' last year in June. On global music streaming player, Spotify, her song was on the top of the chart, proving her as a growing global artist.

In addition, popular American beauty and fashion magazine, HYPEBAE, had also selected Katie as one of the 'Top 5 K-Pop Acts You Should Know in 2019'. With such attention put on Katie, many believe that AWAL will be taking good care of the young singer.
