What does it take for one to get into YG Entertainment?

Well, we don't really know for sure. But who does anyway when it comes to the entertainment industry? Sometimes the producers don't even seem to know what they want in a concrete manner. Which is why the "it" or "star" factor is something that can't be based on a formula.

Below are a few idols and actors that YG Entertainment failed to recognize as people with potential to become big.

Park BoGum

The South Korean actor is currently one of the most trending actors within the nation. Sure, YG may have Kang DongWon, but it would have helped if they also had a younger actor of this generation. Yang HyunSuk himself has stated he was harsh on himself for not signing Park BoGum upon seeing his audition video.

ChungHa

She is among the list of female solo idols who are doing incredibly well at the moment in K-Pop. And on top of that, she was also a member of I.O.I. It's too bad YG Entertainment felt that she wasn't good enough for them when she auditioned in the past.

Rain

Though he may be an o.g, Rain is still considered by many to be the first asian world star. And it's true. If you think about it, before BTS, there weren't many solo male idols who performed globally and was recognized by the international community. He definitely could have made a lot of money for YG.

He passed up on Wendy, too. I wonder how he feels about that.
