Valentine's Day is coming up on the 14th of February and it is only fair to dedicate the 14th article of our series to the same! If you've been looking for a sneaky yet effective way to ask your crush to be your Valentine, we have the perfect playlist for you!

Here are 5 K-Pop songs to send to your crush and ask them out, just in time for Valentine's Day!

        1. Busker Busker - 'Cherry Blossom Ending'

The theme song to every blooming romance, Busker Busker's iconic song 'Cherry Blossom Ending' is a must-have on this playlist. Nothing expresses the heart-fluttering nervousness of walking side by side with your loved one (especially if it is for the first time) more wonderfully than this song. Rest assured, your feelings will be well conveyed.

        2. Standing Egg - 'friend to lover'

If you're looking to confess to a long-time friend and you just can't seem to find the right words, Standing Egg's 'friend to lover' will do the job for you! The gentle sweetness of the song and more importantly, the sincerity of the lyrics will most definitely do justice to your feelings. Besides, your taste in music is guaranteed to earn you brownie points if you send your crush this song.

        3. HyunA - 'Purple' ft. DAWN

Have you ever felt like you've met your soulmate but you just cannot get yourself to confess to them? Take a hint from K-Pop's most romantic couple of all time, HyunA & DAWN, and send 'Purple' to them. Not only will they appreciate the song recommendation but also there's no way they won't know your heart from the lyrics.

        4. ASTRO - '1 in a Million'

'1 in a Million' by ASTRO is an oldie but a goldie with lyrics so straightforward and endearing that they will melt anyone's heart if you send it to them. With members Rocky and JinJin writing the rap themselves, ASTRO's personal touch in this song is eclectic. Needless to say, by the end of the song, you'll have earned yourself a date. However, your beloved might just fall in love with ASTRO instead!

        5. PENTAGON - 'Seasons'

There couldn't possibly be a more poetic way to confess your love to someone than by sending them the lyrics to this song. It will perfectly capture your unchanging heart and sincerity, giving words to feelings you never thought you could express. Besides, PENTAGON's mellifluous sensibility is enough to enchant their listener. If you do end up seeing each other romantically, 'Seasons' could even become your couple song!
