tvN is coming with a new K-Drama “Little Women” (available on Netflix), which premiere is scheduled on September 3rd. The series is an unconventional contemporary adaptation of the XIX century novel. It follows the story of 3 extraordinary sisters - Oh InJu (Kim GoEun), Oh InKyeong (Nam JiHyun), Oh InHye (Park JiHu) - who grew up in poverty. The trio gets tangled up in a mystery when the oldest sister suddenly encounters 700 billion won with no clue of the owner.
Although we are still ahead of the premiere, it is safe to say that the drama is bound to be a hit. Reason? The amazing leading cast, consisting of 3 incredibly talented actresses. All of them have numerously delivered memorable roleplays, so there is a lot to expect. Here is how Kim GoEun’s, Nam JiHyun’s, and Park JiHu’s are about to steal our hearts:
Kim GoEun as a caring oldest sister
Kim GoEun plays the role of a protective sibling, who works really hard to free her family from poverty. She is the one who receives a mysterious bag filled with a large sum of money and despite the strange circumstances, decides to use it to pursue a normal life in prosperity. The released photo stills make the character appear as an exhausted corporate employee who gets caught up in the vain of work. Driven by a sense of responsibility, the older sister relentlessly chases the vision of a better life.
The persistent dream-chaser Oh InJu makes us impatiently await the new performance of Kim GoEun. We can already tell that there are many qualities the young woman will charm the viewers with. The question is whether her questionable actions will be justified by her sister's love and cruel life.

Nam JiHyun as a fearless reporter
Nam JiHyun takes the part of the middle sister, who is a passionate and righteous news reporter. When she comes across a mysterious case from the past, she feels the responsibility for unveiling the truth. From the drama stills, we can assume that Oh InKyung has an ambitious personality and a big potential. We can suspect, that she will easily become the viewer’s bias because of her passion and the charisma she transmits through her confident aura.
In the released drama trailer and teasers, Oh InKyung is the one to point out her older sister’s misdeeds. The young reporter makes us wonder how the family relationship will change when the sisters’ approaches clash.

Park JiHu as a devoted art student
Park JiHu goes into the role of the youngest sister - a gifted teenager, who thanks to her extraordinary talent gets admitted to a prestigious school, despite her disadvantaged background. While pursuing her passion, Oh InHye feels indebted to her loving sisters, who strive to provide her with a piece of ordinary teenage life. Her exhausted but gentle facial expressions in the drama stills, make us intrigued about the talented student.
The youngest sister, who manages to get a slice of a luxurious life (by becoming a student of an elite art school) is another amazing lead female that makes us impatiently anticipate the story of the Oh family.

Altogether, the 3 sisters form a powerful trio, that paths a way for an empowering feministic series. The combination of an incredibly talented cast with an engrossing and thought-provoking plot brings the possibility of the K-Drama becoming this year’s hit.
