Mnet, South Korea’s premier music channel, has officially lifted the curtain on the full lineup of mentors—dubbed “Pro Masters”—and the first mood posters for its highly anticipated K-Pop survival series, “BOYS II PLANET”.

The show, aimed at forming the next generation-defining K-Pop boy group, is set to premiere this summer in two stages: “BOYS II PLANET K” on July 17 (KST) and “BOYS II PLANET C” on July 18 (KST).

Following the success of “BOYS PLANET” and “Girls Planet 999”, this new season will once again bring together international trainees in a large-scale journey toward debut.

The show features mentors across both divisions: “BOYS II PLANET K” will include Lee SeokHoon, KINKY, and choreographer KANY, while “BOYS II PLANET C” brings in K-Pop veteran Kim JaeJoong, Kep1er’s XiaoTing, and JRICK.

Four additional mentors, ONESTAR, Hyolyn, Baek KooYoung, and JUSTHIS will appear in both K and C versions, providing continuity and fair assessments across both groups.

And in a move sure to delight fans of the previous season, ZEROBASEONE members Sung HanBin and Zhang Hao return to the franchise, not as contestants this time, but as “Special Idol Masters.”

Their experience as former trainees and breakout stars will serve as both inspiration and practical guidance for the new hopefuls.

Mood posters teasing lyrics from the upcoming “signal song” dropped on June 4, with the full performance set to premiere globally on June 12 via YouTube, TikTok, and Mnet Plus.

“BOYS II PLANET” marks the latest chapter in Mnet’s evolution as a powerhouse of talent cultivation. The network previously launched ZEROBASEONE—now a major player in the 5th generation of K-Pop—through “BOYS PLANET”.

With “BOYS II PLANET”, Mnet once again aims to spotlight raw, global talent and transform it into the next phenomenon.
