It looks like Mnet is set to launch another upcoming K-Pop girl group debut project "Girls Planet 999" by this year.

On Jan. 11, Mnet had announced that they are planning to launch "Girls Planet 999" as a new challenge for aspiring idols from Korea, China and Japan. They aim to debut a group that will be active and promote on the global stage.

Mnet aims to air the show by the end of 2021 and participants will come from Korea, China as well as Japan. Even though they have difficult cultures and speak different languages, they will be one with the dream to debut as an idol group. Their journey and growth process toward their dreams will take place in the virtual world of "Girls Planet 999" which transcends countries and regions.
