Joseph Kahn, a Korean-American music video director who has worked with the Backstreet Boys, Taylor Swift, and Lady Gaga, has recently caused a bit of controversy for K-Pop fans, mainly towards BTS fandom ARMY.

His statement claiming that all K-Pop idols, including BTS, had cosmetic surgery and wear lipstick has triggered the global superstars' fans. In addition, he recently went on a Twitter spree, refusing to apologize and posting more comments that has intensified ARMY's frustration and anger over the incident.

It's a subject that study about world literary that showcase different cultures and if your artist from America doesn't used make up then Asian Artist are different. That Joseph Kahn is trash. Yes they use makeup. STAGE MAKEUP. They dont cake their face in their normal life and they have a STYLIST to do it. They dont put on their makeup on their own will, its when they have activities on stage, and big interviews. If you were a fan, youd know the boys' bare faces are just as good as their caked ones.

What do you mean, "men are men"? Yes, BTS uses make up, and yes, you can think they look like dolls. That doesn't mean they aren't men. Men can do whatever the heck they want to their appearances and not be women, unless they want to be considered the opposite gender.
