Have you ever wondered how your favorite K-Pop idol managed to enter the company that they are currently in?
There are several ways that an idol initially entered their current company. It can be through an audition, street casting or even through introduction from someone else.
Most of the time even through street casting, he or she would have to go through rounds of test before they are accepted as trainee. However as for ITZY's YuNa it seemed like the case for her was slightly different.
Not long ago on online communities, a fan shared the conversation he or she had with YuNa during a fansign event on Aug. 4.
The fan asked whether she went through an audition or was cast on the street.
YuNa revealed that she was approached by the casting manager of JYP Entertainment when she went for a year end music award. Hearing that, the fan continued by asking which song or dance she did during the audition.

However, YuNa's answer took the fan by surprise as she said that she did not do anything and was just accepted. In other words, it seemed that JYP did not bother to check her basic skills and took her in as a trainee immediately.
With that, fans were amazed to hear that YuNa was most probably accepted just by her looks. Some were also impressed by how YuNa seemed to have a good balance for both singing and dancing.
One fan also shared that member RyuJin was also scouted after attending GOT7's fanmeeting previously.

It seemed like the casting department of JYP Entertainment are doing a good job when it comes to scouting for talents.
