SM Entertainment's veteran boy group Super Junior recently attended a promotion event.
The group members were all seen in bold red suits and still had their flair that captured the hearts of fans many years ago. All of them seemed to be doing well and were all smiles.
However, group member ShinDong has been receiving some hurtful comments from netizens regarding his weight. It's definitely not the first time that netizens have body-shamed celebrities and it's unfortunate that ShinDong has to deal with the current fan buzz.
However, other netizens were angry over the body-shaming comments. Some have also said that it is toxic and negative comments that drove Sulli to her tragic death and that netizens who were being rude to ShinDong should all be coming to their senses
It's definitely a good point that they brought up.
K-Pop idols and celebrities receiving hurtful comments, and not just one but countless comments, obviously wouldn't make them feel pleasant.
Other netizens have also stated that if it was a female idol receiving body shaming from the internet, it would have been a major issue.
Regardless of gender, perhaps everyone should just start respecting each other?
