Netizens Certain YG Entertainment Is Up To Something After Sudden Server Inspection In 6 Years
After the recent news of disposal services trucks entering YG Entertainment headquarters and leaving with tons of files and documents, something else has caught the attention of netizens as the K-Pop agency has been conducting server inspections on February 27th.
The reason why netizens find the agency’s recent activity suspicious is because it hasn’t happened in six years. And of course, the timing of it as well doesn’t seem to be helpful in warding off suspicions from the public since their idol SeungRi of BIGBANG is currently a suspect in an investigation into alleged solicitation of prostitutes for business investors along with the Burning Sun scandal, which involves the alleged use of date rape drugs and corruption.
Below is the announcement that visitors of the webpage found when trying to access YG Entertainment’s websites.
An expert pointed out that through server inspections, it was possible for YG Entertainment to erase the company’s data such as messenger and email contents. Of course, the expert also did add that one couldn’t be certain that the inspection was for the sole purposes of deleting these types of data as well.
YG Entertainment has so far claimed that the server inspections were just routine processes, much like the visit from the disposal services.
