Netizens In Uproar After SM Entertainment Reveals EXO’s Destination In Japan
Just recently on July 22nd, the location of SM Entertainment boy group EXO’s upcoming concert in Japan was revealed, and netizens have been furious upon hearing about it.
According to the schedule, EXO will be performing in Fukuoka (Marine Messe) on October 11th to 13th, Osaka Castle Hall on October 18th to 19th, Yokohama Arena on October 22nd to 23rd, and the Miyagi Sekisui Heim Super Arena on December 20th to 21st.
South Korean netizens have been angry mainly because the Miyagi Sekisui Heim Super Arena is just 130 km away from where the Fukushima Daiichi accident took place. Furthermore, netizens have expressed concern about how the Miyagi prefecture has the second highest radiation levels in Japan.
And given that there are a substantial number of South Koreans who are boycotting anything related to Japan due to escalating political tensions between the two countries, it was quite inevitable that South Korean EXO-L would be responding negatively about EXO performing in Japan.

“You scumbags, do you think there’s just only one single reason why we’re asking you guys to cancel? There’s also the issue of radiation lol, please think.”
