On Feb. 18, it was announced that Big Hit Entertainment and Universal Music Group will be debuting a new boy group some time in 2022. With the new information, many netizens have been analyzing the debut outline Big Hit Labels has for a period of 4 years (2019-2022).

It was said that in 2021, they have plans to debut a new girl group under Source Music, a girl group through "I-LAND" Season 2 as well as their boy group under Big Hit Japan.

Adding on, in 2022 they are planning for a new boy group under Big Hit Entertainment, another girl group (label unknown) as well as a boy group partnered with Universal Music Group.

Looking at their debut timeline over 4 years, Big Hit Labels already has debuted 2 boy groups and it seemed as if they have plans to debut 6 more groups by 2022.

While these are just the speculations of netizens, some have mixed thoughts about the groups the label is planning to debut.

They hoped that they would focus on the groups which are already under them while others shared that they also looking forward to some of the upcoming groups.
