On November 14th, the result for top 10 artists for the upcoming Melon Music Awards 2018 is announced!

They are none other than Apink, BLACKPINK, EXO, iKON, TWICE, Wanna One, BTS, MAMAMOO, Bolbbalgan4 and BTOB. Fans were happy to see that their idols have made it to the top 10 and were proud of their achievements too.

However, one thing that got many netizens confused is the fact that Red Velvet and MOMOLAND are not part of the top 10.

For those who may not be sure for the criteria of Melon Music Top 10, they take into accounts 80% of digital sale and 20% voting by fans.

Red Velvet and MOMOLAND have rather high digital sales. In addition to that, netizens also question BTOB and Apink's position in the top 10 because of lower digital sales.

For the voting results of top 10 by fans, it was noted that the result is as follow. With 1st being BTS, EXO, Wanna One, BTOB, WINNER, SEVENTEEN, Yong JoonHyung, MAMAMOO, Red Velvet and iKON.

Since Red Velvet is the 9th place for voting, some also felt that they should have been included in the top 10. Others are also asking Melon Music to show the actual results and calculations for the top 10.

Homecooked meals are very special, both for the ones doing the cooking and those who enjoy the cooking. So, let's learn the Korean word for homecooked meals - Jip Bap.

Jip Bap (집밥) means "homecooked meal" or "homemade food." However, in addition to using this word to mean exactly homecooked meals, Koreans also use it to describe food that tastes like home. So, if you're at a restaurant in Korea and your Korean friend says that the food tastes like "jip bap", they're saying that the food tastes great and authentic, just like a homemade meal. It is a compliment.

Accordingly, there are also restaurants that specialize in jip bap. So, even if you are technically eating outside, you could be eating jip bap!
