KBS, a public broadcasting station in South Korea, is quite serious when it comes to regulations and criteria of the contents they choose to televise.

Which is why it is such a shame that BLACKPINK's 'KILL THIS LOVE', one of the hottest tracks of 2019, has been deemed unfit for broadcasting.

While the exact reasons for why it has been turned down by KBS hasn't been officially revealed, fans are speculating that it is most likely because Rose wasn't wearing a seatbelt in the MV for 'KILL THIS LOVE', during her driving scene.

I wonder if they are hunting out past members of the label given that Bom's "4:44" has been deemed unfit for walking in a car tunnel. The same tunnel from "Come Back Home" by 2NE1, mind you. Hmmm... ?

Actually, there are many reasons for a ban, from the point of view of Koreans.
More seriously than a seatbelt, is walking or dancing on the road. I wondering how they show movies on tv. After all, often in movies and music videos they want to show a bad person, this is part of the author’s idea.

But in some MVs, like Mamamoo's "Starry Night", the girls are walking and dancing on the road, and in Taeyeon's "I", she's driving a BMW without seatbelt, the same with Oh My Girl's "Remember Me" MV (yes, the car is parked in a studio, but gives the illusion of being on the road). There's a lot of other examples, but this seems more like KBS taking off YG artists from their shows because of those recent scandals.
