Netizens Think Photographer Bernard Faucon Is Trying To Ride On BTS’s Coattails?
On Feb. 25, it was revealed through one particular media outlet that French photographer Bernard Faucon is accusing BTS for plagiarism of his work.
According to the report, Bernard Faucon believed that several photos from BTS’s album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” as well as music video “Blood Sweat Tears” have much similarities to his 1978 series “Summer Camp” as well as “The Banquet”.

The photographer also believed that BTS plagiarised his work from their album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life”.
With that being said, Big Hit Entertainment had also responded, stating that they have denied the accusations, saying that the claim is invalid.
Some netizens also share their piece of thoughts on the accusations on BTS.
Some of them felt that if those were plagiarism, everything in the world would be considered as plagiarism. Others also felt that as BTS gets more and more famous, many are trying to get ‘something’ out of their fame through nitpicking.
Another netizen also shared that the concept of sitting in front of the table has been used not only by BTS but also Wanna One, EXO, MONSTA X and so on. The netizen also felt that the accuser seemed as if he was trying to ‘force’ the similarity between his work and BTS’s.
One also pointed out that the person who had tipped off Bernard Faucon was someone who had previously worked with BIGBANG.
Lastly, it was also reported that Bernard Faucon will be flying into Korea in April to hold a press conference to address his concern and issues.
