News Agencies Say Goo Hara’s Ex Can’t Face Legal Consequences Even If He Uploads Sex Tape
According to South Korean news agencies, Goo Hara‘s ex-boyfriend Choi JongBum isn’t prone to facing any legal consequences even if he uploads the sex tape that the two filmed during the time of their relationship.
How is this possible?
News reports are saying that the reason is because the sex tape was filmed with consent from the actress. Choi’s lawyer has also emphasized over and over that it was Goo Hara’s idea to film the sex tape in the first place. However, this law applies since it was uploaded to Goo Hara and not to any other third party. And because of this, Goo Hara’s legal team probably won’t be able to press charges against Choi for uploading the sex tape on a KakaoTalk conversation with Goo Hara.
The nation has been raising concern over the loophole and has called for the government to ratify the current law which allows Choi to upload the sex tape without facing legal consequences since the tape was made with consent.
