Pledis is facing -once again- the annoyment of fans. This time it is not SEVENTEEN fans but Nu’est and some Wanna One fans. Fans have been trending several hashtags on Twitter to express their anger against the company.
Recently, it was announced that Nu’est will have a solo concert in April 2019 and that after 6 years. It is a big news for L.O.Λ.E. that have been waiting all these years. Fans have been congratulating them on Twitter with #뉴이스트_첫_완전체콘_축하해 [Nuest_First_FullGroupConcert_Congrats]. It is important to note that MinHyun joining Wanna One and now coming back to Nu’est activities had an impact in the fandom. New fans have entered the fandom.
L.O.Λ.E. have several generations: 1st, 2nd, and 2.5th. As you may know, fans registered in the fandom have privileges for concert ticketing. 2.5th generation opened on Feb. 12, 2019. Fans noticed that 2nd generation will get the chance to buy tickets first for the concert, then 2.5th generation will have their opportunities. 2.5th generation is paying less for the membership than the 2nd generation.
Some fans -especially MinHyun’s fans- have been angry on the fact that L.O.Λ.E. of 2nd generation have more privileges than 2.5 generation. They say it is discrimination of fans.
They have been trending the following hashtags: #플레디스_팬차별_보이콧 [Pledis_Fans_Discrimination_Boycott], #러브쩜오_이순위_철회해 [LOVE.5_ThisRanking_Withdrawal], and #팬배척_후레디스_안사요 [Fandiscrimintation_Bast***Pledis_Imnotbuying].
WANNABLE also joined with the hashtag #워너블은_민현이를_응원해 [Wannable_Support_MinHyun].
However, not everyone is thinking that Pledis is doing a bad job. Some fans think that the company is not completely wrong but should have wait for the 3rd generation.
roros are trending a hashtag to boycott LOΛE 2.5gen and asking for feedback against unfair treatment towards them. LOL what makes u think u guys are so special. pledis arent treating minhyun unfairly, it’s YOU who are treating nuest & LOVEs like shit. get over yourselves pic.twitter.com/cusoK4sOns
