Here's 8 incredible K-Pop idol vocalists whose voices match the sentimental autumn vibes.
Dyllan Mykel, Kpopmap EditorWith summer fading, autumn is right at our doorstep, waiting to welcome us with open arms. The season of autumn signals leaves changing colors, colder weather, and the start of layered fashion. It's a festive time, jampacked with seasonal treats and themes to match. Then, heading into fall for the K-Pop world means a change in music style, where some embrace the yearning that autumn brings.
Soon, ballads will start filling up our playlists and our favorite idol vocalists will be swooning us with their captivating vocals. There are some that absolutely embody the thoughtful and nostalgic feeling of autumn, causing fans everywhere to fall even deeper in love.
Now, let's take a look at some of these K-Pop idol vocalists who completely match the sentimental vibes that autumn brings.
Note: this list is in no particular order.
When it comes to idol vocalists, KyuHyun is a walking legend, able to bring out waves of emotion with a single note. His soothing voice is a perfect match for fall and all the yearning that comes with it. Most especially, due to the fact that his solo debut title track, 'At Gwanghwamun', was released during autumn, many think to KyuHyun as fall settles in.
The vocal line of ATEEZ is impeccable, but today we pour our focus on JongHo. In just one second, the idol is able to pluck on all of your heartstrings, causing you to reminisce on a long, lost love. Although your chest might tighten and your eyes will swell up in tears, you won't be able to stop listening to the beauty of JongHo's voice.
MONSTA X are an amazing performance-heavy group who lights the stage ablaze. They all possess a fiery aura that fills up the entire room. But when it feels too hot, KiHyun is there to cool things off with his soothing vocals that match the fall season. While there's still power in his voice, there also exists a tenderness that comforts you on even the hardest of days.
Whether it's in English, Japanese, or Korean, JinHo is able to captivate you from beginning to end. His singing is crisp like the cold autumn air, offering a safe haven for all those looking for refuge. Even when the autumn weather gets colder, JinHo's voice is there to keep you warm even in the dead of night.
SeungMin might be part of the maknae line, but with his skills he shows that age doesn't limit his endless talents. His voice is distinct and leaves a noticeable impression on listeners' hearts. With these qualities, he matches well with autumn, bringing out emotions of pining that we thought were long gone.
As a vocalist, WooBin is a shining light that sparkles at any time of the day. His voice covers you in a blanket of peace that wraps around your entire being. Listening to him during the fall feels like a must as his voice will make you feel a spectrum of emotions, suitable for the sentiments of the season.
Kang SeokHwa's vocals are like a special treasure that you want to share with everyone. While listening to him sing, you can just imagine a shower of red and orange leaves falling around you. Even if you're caught in a whirlwind of feelings, SeokHwa's vocals have the ability to guide you away and towards a safe place.
TaeIl is an outstanding vocalist who showcases his vocal prowess regardless of genre. The way he handles ballads is especially touching. You'll naturally find yourself swaying side to side, caught up in the heartfelt melody his voice creates. That’s why Kpopmap is here to bring you the most uplifting and entertaining clips to a screen near you! Now, take a look down below for a little energy boost on the first day of the week.
K-Pop idols might look cool and charismatic on stage, but they turn into complete fluff while in front of babies. This is certainly the case for MONSTA X members JooHoney and KiHyun as they make an appearance on "The Return of Superman". We see the two idols become perfect play partners and uncles towards baby Jen. The way they play with her in the foam pit is endearing and provides energy that would last for days.
Regardless of mood or occasion, one bite of food has the power to reenergize anyone. And while we might not be able to have some, watching someone else eat can be just as revitalizing as having it ourselves. During this week's episode of MBC's "I Live Alone", we see good friends Chun WooHee and Lee JooSeung meet up to hang out.
While having an earnest conversation, WooHee unknowingly continues to put food into her mouth, piece by piece. Seeing her like this is such a mood, shared by anyone who has happily enjoyed their delicious meal. Watching her eat is like a provides indescribable joy and laughter to kick off the busy week.

NewJeans' 'Hype Boy' has been a viral craze ever since its release. Every celebrity has covered this dance in some way, shape, or form. Watching BTOB's MinHyuk run straight out once the song begins is heartwarming to watch. The pure happiness on his face is infectious, perfect for anyone looking to start off the work week with a huge smile.
Weddings are a joyous occasion for many reasons and for various people. Not only is it a happy event for the bride and the groom, but also for the attendees who have arrived to celebrate the two. After eight years of dating, top celebrities SE7EN and Lee DaHae finally decided to tie the knot and their wedding was nothing short of spectacular.
They made an appearance on SBS' "You Are My Destiny" and before their segment, a glimpse of their luxurious wedding was shown. From the people attending to SE7EN's entrance at the beginning of the ceremony, it had the feel of a heart-racing concert. You could just feel the energy penetrate through the screen and lodge itself deep into your bones.
After a successful first season, "Earth Arcade" is back with a second season. Once again, the core cast of Lee YoungJi, IVE's An YuJin, OH MY GIRL's Mimi, and Lee EunJi provide a limitless amount of laughter to viewers across the globe.
Here, we see the ladies try their hand at the zombie game. In such an enclosed space, you would think there would be little to no difficulty. But leave it to the producers to add a little twist to the game for pure entertainment value. Although it's a 3 versus 1, it takes an incredible amount of effort and strength to capture that one person. They are hilarious in their attempts, providing slapstick comedy and sidesplitting reactions that will just have you roaring in laughter.
We hope with this edition of K-Variety Round Up, your Monday is filled with happiness and strength. Fighting!

While there are many idols who have gone bungee jumping, these are just 12 of the most notable jumps.
Sandy, Staff WriterAmongst the multitude of music shows, concerts, fansigns, photoshoots that idols have and the countless hours spent in studios and practise rooms, a part of life as an idol includes the opportunity to try things they wouldn’t normally think of doing.
Sometimes, they can be extreme and crazy like bungee jumping. For as many idols as there are in the K-Pop industry, there are as many attempts to do something so great in scale.
While there are many idols who have gone bungee jumping, these are just 12 of the most notable jumps.
During episode 13 of “EN-O’CLOCK”, Jay, HeeSeung, Niki and JungWon were the lucky ones chosen to complete the task of bungee jumping after the group spent a day filled with other physical activities including paintball and completing the course of the Marine Tower (continued from episode 12). All four members were strong and stoic as they leapt from the height as the other members cheered them on.
Begin watching from 25:05 for the bungee jumping.
On “MAMAMOO X GFRIEND: Showtime”, the former GFriend members each took turns having a go at bungee jumping. The members were nervous, especially YuJu and YeRin who are known to have a fear of heights. As they were waiting for their turn, they were visibly scared but when it came to the moment, the support of the members gave them the courage to overcome their fears.
On their own series of “Showtime” in 2014, the APINK members experienced bungee jumping as well. The members were terrified and while two of the six members didn’t end up jumping, it was definitely a rare and memorable experience for the group.
Amongst this list, the bungee experience of MONSTA X is arguably the most terrifying yet thrilling. Jumping 233 metres from the Macau Tower, KiHyun, ShowNu and former member, WonHo, took on what was the world’s highest bungee jump at the time. ShowNu showed no signs of fear. In fact, he actually volunteered to jump while KiHyun and WonHo jumped because they lost a previous challenge. KiHyun and WonHo were both scared, especially WonHo who was extremely nervous. In the end, all three managed to jump and impressed the other members.
Begin watching from 28:00 for the bungee jumping.
The TEMPEST members went bungee jumping as part of TaeRae’s dream vacation to mark their one year anniversary. The bungee jump location was surrounded by a beautiful winter scenery of green mountains and a frozen lake. While Hyuk was the only member to not jump, the process of doing something as remarkable as bungee jumping is one to remember.
VIXX’s bungee jump experience was over a decade ago on the reality show, “MyDOL”, which followed the formation and debut of the group. The members were nervous to do something so daring but they all found their own ways to find courage and all managed to successfully jump.
Girl’s Day’s YuRa went bungee jumping with her on-screen husband, actor Hong JongHyun, on “We Got Married” in 2014. YuRa was really nervous to jump but JongHyun’s protective instincts kicked in and he jumped while carrying YuRa bridal style. This made YuRa feel at ease to complete the jump.
The members of SEVENTEEN have experienced bungee jumping at different times.
JeongHan, Dino, Hoshi, Woozi and DK were the ones who jumped during episodes 37 and 38 of “GOING SEVENTEEN 2020”. The other members watched from below, even lying down on the ground and relaxing as the show unfolded.
Joshua and Vernon bungee jumped on the 2018 Chinese program, “Idol Hits”. Both of them succeeded in jumping and they did so while maintaining a lighthearted and fun atmosphere.
ATEEZ went bungee jumping before they even debuted. Like MONSTA X, they jumped 233 metres from the world’s highest bungee jump at the Macau Tower. Not all the members jumped. WooYoung, YunHo and HongJoong were the ones chosen to take the challenge. All three of the members bravely succeeded in the extreme challenge.
Similar to YuRa and JongHyun, SHINee member, TaeMin, and former APINK member, NaEun, were a couple on “We Got Married” and bungee jumped together. As they were about to jump on their first attempt, TaeMin shouted, “NaEun, I’ll protect you”. However, at the last second, NaEun hesitates, steps back and they both laugh. In the end, they did manage to jump together.
All the members of TXT jumped 15 storeys and while there were some nerves flying around, they all were brave in the face of a huge challenge. By the end, they were all happy and they were met with a nice meal including chicken, pizza, jjajangmyeon and lemonade amongst other delicious food and drinks.
BTOB bungee jumped during their first year as a debuted group in 2012. They went bungee jumping on episode 62 of their show, “BTOB MTV Diary”. Most of the members were courageous when it came down to it but EunKwang and ChangSub were quite nervous to do something so extreme.
Do you think you could jump from these too?
