Pizza Hut Korea Uses Ingenious Editing To Deal With Microdot Controversy
Things are looking quite grim lately for South Korean rapper Microdot as it turns out that the accusations made against his parents, claims that they scammed close neighbors of nearly $2 million, turned out to be true.
Microdot initially denied the accusations made against his parents and stated that he would be taking legal action. However, he admitted to the accusations shortly afterward and stated that he desired to meet all the victims in person to apologize.
This puts Pizza Hut Korea in a bad position. Why? Well, for starters, Microdot was included in a CF as a promotion model. And according to reports, the CF was finalized and that there was nothing that they could do…except censor him out and turning a crisis into an opportunity.
They intentionally warned the viewers that the CF may cause “discomfort” for having very awkward transitions and that viewer discretion was advised.
South Korean netizens found the CF to be better made than what it was probably like originally.
