Mnet has been hyping up viewers with its upcoming "Produce 48" and it was announced that the 96 trainees will be appearing on Mnet "Mcountdown" for the very first time with their theme song 'PICK ME' (nae ggeo ya).
On the previous seasons of "Produce 101", their theme songs have gained attention for the addictive beats and eye-catching choreography.

It was revealed that previously on April 22nd, Mnet had finished the recording for the stage performance of 'PICK ME' (nae ggeo ya). Similar to previous seasons, the trainees are ranked according to their level evaluation. In addition to how hard the trainees have work for the performance, staff members have also put in a lot of effort in perfecting the stage.
In this season, Lee SeungGi would take the role as the national MC and appear with the 96 trainees on "Mcountdown". Because of the huge scale of this season, viewers and fans are already curious and have high expectations about the stage performance.
The theme song 'PICK ME' (nae ggeo ya) is produced by the same producer of 'Never' and Wanna One's debut track 'Energetic'. Together with it being of EDM sound genre, the mix between the trainees' passion and energy is expected to hype up the entire season. 'PICK ME' (nae ggeo ya) will be available on all music streaming sites on May 10th, 6PM.
After the release of the stage performance, Mnet will be opening "Produce 48" official homepage on May 11th. Finally the veil of "Produce 48" will be removed and viewers will be able to learn more about the 96 trainees appearing on the show.
In this season, apart from Lee SeungGi who will be appearing as the national MC, Lee HongKi, SoYou and Cheetah will be taking their place as vocal and rap trainers. As for dance, Bae YoonJung, Choi YoungJun and May J Lee will be taking their roles as dance trainers.
Mnet will be airing "Produce 48" in June.
