Prosecution Seeks Prison Time For The East Light’s Producer And CEO
On June 14th, the sixth hearing regarding K-Pop band The East Light‘s assault case took place, with the prosecution seeking a three year prison sentence for producer Moon YoungIl for assaulting minors and an eight-month prison sentence for CEO Kim ChangHwan for aiding and abetting the assault.
In addition, the prosecution has also requested approximately $17,000 in fine for Media Line Entertainment for violating the Child Welfare Act.
The final hearing is scheduled to take place on July 5th 2 PM KST.
