Rapper San E Releases New Track ‘Feminist’ Amidst Getting Mixed Up In Isu Station Case
Just after being criticized for getting involved in South Korea’s shocking Isu Station case, where two women deceived the public by stating they were assaulted by four men for having short hair and not wearing makeup, rapper San E seems to have had enough.
He uploaded a video showing that the alleged “victims” of the case were in fact instigators of what transpired and that they were playing the part of the victim. They were seen using sexually degrading language toward the men, In addition, there have been doubts that the men actually even assaulted them at all. The investigations are currently ongoing.
San E was criticized for getting involved by uploading a video clip showing new information about the ongoing case.
And his latest song ‘FEMINIST’ seems to be his response to those who are criticizing him at the moment. He talks about how feminism has been distorted so much in South Korea and that it has completely corrupted what it once stood for. He also states in his lyrics that he himself is a feminist as he believes women are equal to men and that he respects his mother and sisters.
In addition, he raised awareness of WOMAD, an organization that promotes hatred towards men.
