Check out these duet performances with musical genius, Henry Lau.
Dyllan Mykel, Kpopmap EditorHenry Lau, or simply Henry, is an artist of many talents. With the ability to play a plethora of instruments, he is also incredibly charismatic, and can very well turn the stage red hot with his mesmerizing dance moves. He was made to perform and those who've seen him, both live and on screen, can certainly agree.
Henry has the power and capability to fill the stage all on his own. However, another side of the singer is unlocked when he teams up with someone else in the industry. These duet performances are special in every sense of the word, creating an unforgettable moment that fans want to relive forever.
Talking about these stunning collaborations don't do it justice, so let's check some out below!
Henry is a talented at everything. But he is most known for his violin mastery. Together with Ko SoHyun, they produced this beautiful violin duet of Ed Sheeran's iconic 'Perfect', which absolutely lives up to the name. Playing against the backdrop of a beautiful ocean view, don't be surprised if you find your jaw planted on the floor by the very end.
"The Greatest Showman" produced some of the most moving OSTs known to man, acting as a rallying cry of motivation and hope. Together with Lena Park, Henry tackled the song 'Never Enough'. As they continued to belt out notes, you could feel an unfathomable warmth wrap itself around your body. While amazing as soloists, together they become a musical super duo.
When it comes to love songs, Henry coats every note with such tantalizing sweetness that you can't help but develop a sweet tooth from it. This is exactly what happens in this cover with Lee Hi. Their voices are distinct and unique, yet complement each other so well. Their duet performance makes you believe that love is absolutely real and waiting just at your doorstep.
Henry and Jessi might have sass, but they are also charismatically cool, a fact no one can deny. They bring this energy and more into this duet performance of 'Dance Monkey'. Although short, you can feel your body moving to the rhythm of their voices, getting lost in the addictive melody.
As of February 9th, 2024 at 7:30 PM KST, Henry and Ailee's duet performance of 'Rolling In The Deep' has received over 20 million views on YouTube since being uploaded in 2021. However, hearing their stunning harmonies and seeing their artistic talent makes it easy to see why. They provide a concert-level performance that will have you reeling for more. Don't be surprised if you find yourself replaying their performance a hundred or more times over, pushing the video across the 21 million mark.

Given the popularity of K-Pop collabs, we got to thinking about which Asian artist x K-Pop collabs would be absolutely iconic. Check out our picks below!
Note: The term "K-Pop idols" in the title is used as an umbrella term to refer to Korean musicians.
Kings of lyricism, melodies, and pouring their soul into their art, WOODZ, and Fujii Kaze have similar artistic codes that would make them a perfect fit for collaboration. With WOODZ’s penchant for rock and Fujii Kaze’s emphatic vocals, such a collab would positively break the internet and charts all over the world.
DEAN is finally back to the music scene, and we could not be more excited. DEAN has always been known for his delicate, husky vocals that make us feel things we didn’t even know we were capable of. Musical history would be made with this K-Pop collab.
In the Indian K-Pop community, a collab between legendary K-Pop idol Chen and the iconic Indian musician Arijit Singh is right up the dream team list. Arijit Singh is one of the biggest Indian musicians right now, and Chen’s reputation as a god-tier vocalist precedes him. Both singers are exceptional in their ballads and sheer vocal power. So, if we were to imagine these two powerhouses coming together for a ballad, it would be a cultural reset, to say the least.
By this point in the article, you must be thinking that we have an agenda of making your tear ducts dry up with these dream K-Pop collabs because next up, we have the queen of South Korean vocalists, Ailee, with Thai superstar Jeff Satur. Now, this is a dream collaboration if we’ve ever seen one.
Taiwan’s OST queen Shi Shi has won millions of hearts with her exceptionally moving, warm, and tender songs. She is a beloved artist who definitely deserves even more global attention.
