Reason Why MONSTA X's JooHeon Changed His Stage Name To JooHoney

MONSTA X is coming back with album "Take.2: WE ARE HERE" with title track 'Alligator'. For this comeback, fans have been hyped with the announce of collaboration with Steve Aoki, the released of the song "No Reason" with lyrics, composition, and arrangement done in part by WonHo and other good news.

Among these, there was also the announcement that JooHeon changes his English stage name to JooHoney.

Many were curious about the reason behind his choice. On V-Live held on Feb. 16, JooHoney explained to MONBEBE why he made that choice.

He explained that many people confuse JooHeon with JooHyeon, like people often confuse MONSTA X with MONSTER X/MONSTEO X. JooHoney said that he "was a bit sad" about these. So he decided to talk about it with Starship Entertainment's director to make a change and his request was accepted. JooHoney also mentioned that he hopes that his new name would be easier for global MONBEBE.

Fans already support him in his change.
