Red Velvet's YeRi Outstanding Achievements Since Debut

Fame and achievement do not come easy for many idols and sometimes it all depends on luck and opportunities. In the case of Red Velvet's YeRi, amidst her sweet visual and vocals, she is the epitome of such cases.

YeRi debuted as a new member of Red Velvet back in 2015 with their first mini album 'Ice Cream Cake' at the young age of 17.

It was revealed that in just 9 days after her debut, she managed to clinch Red Velvet's very first number one in music show on KBS 'Music Bank'. Currently, YeRi holds the fastest record of a newbie who managed to win number one in music show after debut.

With her amazing start as a K-Pop idol, she has also received many awards together with Red Velvet.

In 2015, they were presented with 'New Artist of The Year' award in Golden Disc Awards and Seoul Music Awards. In 2016, they worked even harder and was given 'Bonsang' Award in Golden Disc Awards and Seoul Music Awards. They were also crowned the 'Top 10 Artist' and having the 'Best Music Video' in Melon Music Awards. Their hard work was rewarded in 2017 when they had received the 'Best Female Group' in Mnet Asian Music Award (MAMA).

It was reported that Red Velvet will also be one of the 160 artists who will be performing in North Korea from March 31st to April 3rd. At just a mere age of 20, YeRi has achieved many and one of them includes heading to North Korea for a performance.

Fans of YeRi are truly happy to see that she is balancing her music career as well as spending time with her friends. Recently she and Actress Kim SaeRon went on a vacation in Bali! They are known to be best friends with each other.
