With each mini-album answering one question of “When,” “Where” and now “Who,” GHOST9’s “NOW” series is a storytelling marvel that fully showcases the diverse range of the 7-member outfit. With prior title tracks “Seoul” and “Up All Night” expressing a more carefree tone, [NOW: Who we are facing]’s “CONTROL” marks a 180-degree shift towards a more mature and alluring side of GHOST9. Samping Austrian composer Franz Schubert’s classic “Erlkönig” (The Elf King), the track layers in impactful beats that highlights the sounds of the orchestra.

In the music video, the members struggle against a masked figure, trapped under its control in a mysterious space as the lyrics coos “destined fate.” In the end, GHOST9 seemingly claims victory against the maestro, successfully rebelling against its authority.
