Unbound Entertainment Group has recently announced that JUNNY will embark on his first-ever North American tour, The “blanc” Tour, visiting eleven stops across America and Canada. Coined a ‘genius singer-songwriter’, JUNNY is making his mark as an emerging star in the global music scene and will now greet fans in person.
The “blanc” Tour begins on Sep. 4 in Los Angeles at 1720 followed by shows on Sep. 5 in San Francisco at Midway, Sep. 7 in Seattle at Crocodile, Sep. 8 in Vancouver at Harbour, Sep. 9 in Calgary at MacEwan Ballroom, Sep. 11 in Dallas at Trees, Sep. 12 in Houston at Last Concert Cafe, Sep. 13 in Atlanta at Center Stage, Sep. 14 in Toronto at Opera House, Sep. 15 in Brooklyn at Monarch, and Sep. 16 in Montreal at Le National.
The Korean-Canadian debuted in 2017 with his single, 'Thank You'. Since then, he has gained a strong following for his musical abilities across all areas of composing, writing, and performing, making him one of the most sought-after talents in the industry. Notably, JUNNY caught the eye of BTS' Jungkook, who expressed his love for the artist by singing, 'By My Side', during a live stream. JUNNY has also received love calls from top entertainment companies and artists, composing for the likes of NCT, IU, EXO’s BaekHyun, EXO's Kai, EXO's SuHo, and more. His recent release, 'Color Me' featuring ChungHa, is yet another testament to his collaborative ingenuity.
Now, JUNNY continues making strides as an artist, revealing his distinct musical color through his own releases and covers. The artist is set to expand his discography with his upcoming full-length album, "blanc". The album was inspired by JUNNY’s thoughts on how he is influenced by those he spends his time with, resembling a blank canvas that absorbs many different colors.
With this project, he hopes to show the colors of his early and mid-twenties, with each track going back in time to explore JUNNY’s past experiences in chronological order. In this manner, "blanc" is a farewell to his youth and a look into how the artist plans to live his life moving forward.
