“School 2017” (2017 Drama): Cast & Summary

Series drama "School" has been established as the gateway to becoming  star actor or actress. Kim SeJung are going to showing off her acting skill here.

"School 2017" caught the attention of netizens because of the rumor that Kim YooJung are going to act a main character. However, as Kim YouJung decided not to appear in this drama, Kim SeJung of Gugudan is selected to be a main character. Staff of "School 2017" said that this season will reflect students' honest and diverse feelings. At the beginning, the early draft included very shocking stories but recently changed writer of drama rarefied the writing in a realistic way.

Summary

2017 version of "School" series, which reflect real high schoolers' lives who have lots of secrets and thoughts. "School 2017" will show different high school student who struggle and grow mature a lot.

Kim SeJeong  of Gugudan as Ra EunHo

Ra Eun Ho is as bad at studying as she is at the bottom of her class, but she is dreaming to enter prestigious university through a special admission for Webtoon specialists.  Ra EunHo is the main character who has positive and active personality to struggle for her dream.

 

Kim JungHyun as Hyun TaeWoon

Kim JungHyun already appeared in numerous dramas, such as "Jealousy Incarnate" and "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People". Trouble maker in high school, Hyun TaeWoon, moved from American high school because of his dissipated life there. Still here in Korea, he became a trouble make on the first day at the school, nobody touches him because his father is the rich who has invested a lot on his school.

 

Jang DongYoon as Song DaeHwi

Everybody envies him, calling him as 'emchina'(which means the boy who is as perfect as other moms compare with their own childs). Song DaeHwi is handsome, nice, humorous, good at sports and studying. Even though he got all the charms, he is not a boy who has grown up in rich family.

 

Han JooWan as Shim KangMyung

Homeroom teacher, Shim KangMyung chose to be a high school teacher depite of his high level of education, because he liked the stable tenure of high school teacher. As he teach students, he also becomes mature with his students including Kim SeJung.

 

Han SunHwa as Han SooJi

School police, who manages and controls her own school, Han SooJi  looks perfect but has amazing skills to catch lots of criminals. High school students reminds her of her high school life in the past and she empathizes with them.

 

RoWoon of SF9 as Kang HyunIl

As Rowoon is well known for his acting in web drama "Click Your Heart", he got pretty good acting skills. Many Netizens are expecting him to act good in this drama.
