According to SEVENTEEN member SeungKwan, the idol group has had fifteen different managers ever since they first stepped into the K-Pop scene, while also adding that there may have been more if his memory wasn’t serving him correctly.
He spoke about it during an episode of ‘Point of Omniscient Viewpoint’ on February 23rd. SeungKwan appeared on the show with MinGyu and one their three current managers.
“Our group has so many members that a lot of the managers who worked with us in the past just quit due to exhaustion. The longest time a manager stayed with us was about six months. There were about fifteen managers, who all quit, ever since our debut. And even the ones who we were close to were gone just like that one day without letting us know.”
Their current manager also admitted that he regretted taking up the position, almost on a daily basis.
If you think about it, it actually would be very difficult taking care of thirteen young boys, making sure they’re all accounted for, eating properly, their luggage, and etc. It’s difficult enough taking care of even just one person.
Which is the reason why SeungKwan promised to buy a pair of sneakers for all of the three current managers once their promotions end.
