SF9 is back with their 10th mini-album called "RUMINATION" and title track 'Trauma'. Members YoungBin, InSeong, JaeYoon, DaWon, ZuHo, RoWoon, Yoo TaeYang, HwiYoung, and Chani are back after 4 months with an upgraded presence.
YoungBin shared that the members have been busy promoting in various ways through solo activities. He thinks that because they have reunited, this promotional period will be all the more meaningful.

The members have been participating in various activities including web dramas, K-Dramas, and musicals, as well as song production and solo performances. They have many upcoming projects too. Despite their busy individual schedules, they have been preparing for this comeback as a group.
On Nov. 15, SF9 released the teaser for 'Trauma' filled with underlying suspense and intense gazes from the members as time ticked until their comeback day.
The album consists of 7 tracks and all of the members participated in the production process in some way.
The first song is the title track 'Trauma'. InSeong shared that 'Trauma' is a next-level song that shows how SF9 will not be trapped within trauma, but move forward with an improved appearance. The song is intuitive and was prepared on a large scale. He said that FANTASY (their fandom) can look forward to it.

The second song on the album is 'Memory'. The third track is 'Dreams' and the fourth track is 'Gentleman'. Next is the song '잠시 (One And On)'. It is followed by the sixth track 'Scenario' and the final song '오늘이라서 (For Fantasy)' which is a fan song.

SF9 held a media showcase that Kpopmap was invited to. They shared information about their comeback and recent activities. Here is everything that you need to know.
The members started off by performing their title track 'Trauma'. This performance stood out because the members used chairs as props (at the beginning of the performance) to complete their choreography. The performance was enchanting and made it impossible to look away.
Unfortunately, due to a minor rib injury, ZuHo could not perform fully during the showcase but he said that he is receiving treatment so that he can recover quickly.

The members then followed up with a performance of one of their B-side tracks called 'Memory'. It was an equally moving performance as the members' golden vocals and alluring rap skills were put on full display.

"RUMINATION" is considered to be an album where the members show their sexy and fatal charm. The members explained a bit about the concept and title song performance.
Yoo TaeYang said that they tried to melt a lot of sexiness into their performance, which you could consider to be SF9's exclusive patent. They focused on creating an intuitive performance to enhance the experience of listening to the song.

The members were asked whether they have been having a mentally challenging time due to their busy schedules and what has been keeping them motivated. YoungBin proudly answered that they are all working hard and feel proud of their achievements. They consider their driving force to be FANTASY and gain strength from fans' comments and support.
The participation of all members in this album is another thing that sets it apart. HwiYoung said that they wanted to make a good album considering that they missed their fans for such a long time. They thought that the best way to convey their deep gratitude to fans would be by showing them a good album, which is why all of the members participated in the creation of it.
The members were then asked if there was a member who stood out to them for showing a particularly sexy appearance this comeback. InSeong answered that he is sometimes surprised by how hot JaeYoon and DaWon can be.
He joked about wondering whether fans would be able to accept this level of sexiness and said that the members need to apologize for being so charming. JaeYoon obliged and jokingly apologized for his irresistible charm before striking some poses with DaWon.

JaeYoon then named the member that he thinks was particularly sexy this comeback as Yoo TaeYang. He said that TaeYang's fashion and performance power are very sexy, even when he is wearing a tracksuit in their practice room. He said that there is no denying his sexiness even in that situation.

It's been 6 years since your debut, what is the ultimate goal or direction that SF9 wants to pursue in the future?
The public expects SF9 to be 'sexy' or 'fatal', however, we would like to show various aspects of ourselves in a refreshing way. We are working very hard in order not to disappoint you.

All of the SF9 members participated in writing the lyrics for the fan song '오늘이라서 (For Fantasy)'. What are your favorite lyrics in the song?
I'll answer as the representative who composed and arranged the song. I worked on this song 3 years ago. It's a song that expresses how happy I am to be with the fans today and each day. I asked each of the members to write lyrics for the song because I wanted them to add the message they had for FANTASY into it. We wanted to express all of the words that we couldn't say until now in this song.
