A huge congratulations to JYP's newest boy band DAY6, the kpop rookie showcased their vocals and choreography for "Congratulations." Their title track darted straight to number one as soon as it was released, and the exact same thing happened on all Korean pop music charts when the song first came out. Many top K-pop groups reach 1st place in several countries on various of Kpop charts. What is more surprising is that two songs from an Infinite Challenge Festival, “Mapsosa” by Hwangtaeji — a team of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Hwang Kwang-hee — and “Leon” by IU and Park Myung Soo followed in second and third back then.
JYP Entertainment informed media outlets, "DAY6 has stormed to the top of nine different music charts following the midnight release of its debut album, The Day." The group’s chart success will come as a great relief for the six-piece, who have had to wait a considerable amount of time to release their studio album debut. Besides, the six men will stage their first game in Korea music industry, against YG and SM, and the fans will also be eager to see the talented rookies’ performances.
Within only a few hours of its release, the title track “Congratulations” was confirmed to have made Number 1 on charts compiled by Melon, Mnet,Genie, Olleh Music, Soribada, Monkey3, Bugs Music, Daum Music and Naver Music.
