The Shops at Skyview in Flushing, Queens, is set to welcome the community to its “Spring Forward/Give Back” event on Saturday, March 15, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event, marking the first weekend after daylight saving time, will feature an exciting blend of fashion, art, and philanthropy, including a special appearance by K-Pop star Song SeungHyun.

The celebration will showcase the latest spring/summer collections from Skyview retailers in a “Spring Fashion Showcase”. Guests can also witness a live art installation where artist Jason H. Lee will repurpose recycled apparel into creative displays, promoting sustainability through artistic expression.

As part of its commitment to giving back, The Shops at Skyview will host a “Spring Clothing Drive” in collaboration with the Queens Borough President’s office and local public schools, encouraging attendees to donate gently worn clothing for local youth in need. Donors will receive an exclusive coupon set from Skyview retailers along with a signed poster from Song SeungHyun.

Adding to the excitement, Song SeungHyun, a former member of the legendary K-Pop band FTIsland, will serve as the event’s ambassador, supporting children’s education initiatives. A co-founder of the Korean-style photobooth company Film Memento, he will interact with fans, discuss his journey, and highlight the importance of community support for education.
