South Korean Netizens Absolutely Hate This MIXNINE Idol Trainee
Sometimes it’s highly entertaining to watch cringe-worthy auditions and fail moments during shows. But this idol is on another level.
South Korean netizens are currently pointing fingers at one member of a MIXNINE idol trainee team for ruining it all for everyone.
So let’s get straight to it. Who is the idol trainee that South Koreans are savagely roasting and bombarding with criticisms at the moment? Lee JaeJun of RBW.
It all started during a meeting on MIXNINE. The idol trainee boys were discussing who would sing the first verse of a song. GunMin encouraged the boys to volunteer and step up if they really wanted the part.
So far so good. JaeJun stepped up and showed enthusiasm. But the only problem is…
He wasn’t able to execute it properly. His vocal frequencies were quite unstable.
Eventually, JaeYoon gets the part after being chosen unanimously by the other trainee boys.
But JaeJun doesn’t seem to quite get it. He insists that he take the part and slightly expresses his bitterness towards the situation.
He felt that everyone was being a little too harsh on him.
And so he asked to take the vocal part during the bridge of the song.
His teammates are starting to become concerned because one weak link in the chain can make the entire group look bad. The mistake of one member would make the entire team look like they made the same mistake.
Because it has happened before.
JaeJun then asks if he can take join in during SeungJoon‘s part.
The team is lost for words by now.
SeungJoon, feeling sympathy for JaeJun, tries to give his part to him. But the situation takes a turn for worse as the entire team has differing opinions regarding the situation. SeungJoon tries to persuade teammates to give his part to JaeJun instead but the members don’t seem like they can be persuaded in any way at this point.
SeungJoon, realizing that the situation is actually making everyone uncomfortable, tries to relieve tension and stress by just stepping down and giving the part to JaeJun. Unfortunately, none of the teammates were going to allow that to happen. SeungJoon has said no one was willing to compromise and allow him to hand his part over to JaeJun.
Upsetting JaeJun again. It really does seem like a difficult situation for everyone at this point.
And during rehearsals…
He forgets or just doesn’t sing at all during his part in the first verse. He sings at an inaudible volume during the second verse.
And the team begins to express frustration. JunSeob begins to tell him that he needs to sing louder.
And SeungJoon finally reaches a point where he just becomes angry at the whole situation.
But it doesn’t end there. He causes confusion for everyone because he starts singing during the parts of other members.
And JunSeob explains that he couldn’t rap on beat because he was thrown off by two different voices.
Eventually, the team fell behind very short on points and Yang HyunSuk, of course, roasted the leader of the team for mismanagement.
