Sulli Roasted By Netizens For Celebrating S. Korean Abortion Law Ruling

MONSTA X & Their Current Smoking Controversies

Twitter

Just recently, the South Korean government ruled their abortion law as unconstitutional and overruled it, resulting in abortion now being legal.

Before the changes, a woman who was caught undergoing an abortion would potentially face a one year prison sentence while the operating physician would potentially face up to two years.

And because the subject of abortion has always been a controversial one, it would have been best for Sulli, who is widely known for causing controversies, to perhaps been discreet about how overjoyed she was. But knowing Sulli, we all know that she would speak her mind very directly and clearly.

Which is the reason why the K-Pop idol has been receiving a lot of criticism from netizens who stand by their anti-abortion belief.

“But you know, I don’t know if the abolition of the previous abortion law is something to be overjoyed about like this…but she seems to be really happy about it.”

“Sulli really seems brainless.”

“Now I’m curious about what her parents are like.”

Given that the new ruling on the abortion law has incited major anti-abortion protests in South Korea, it’s no surprise that she has been receiving criticism from the public.

Y’all pro lifers really care about foetuses… apart from when they’re actually born then fuck them right? Y’all pathetic, as if you’ve ever donated or done anything for actually unwanted children. How many foster homes or adoption centres have you been to exactly? None right?
Sincerely a foster kid who’s grown up unloved and forced to be born by unwilling people, unfit to be parents.

This is kind of depressing…for one..she real salty for getting caught. And for two..I dont think it’s a good idea to celebrate..shes just drawing more harmful attention to herself..idk maybe that’s what she wants.

Good on her! I actually had no idea that abortions used to be illegal in the country, so good on you, too, Korea, finally!

And I don’t want to hear any pro-lifers up my ass! I’ve had to deal with a couple of those in life and you don’t have anything new to say, I’ve heard it all, don’t come at me.

In the U.S., anyway, about 1.5% of abortions are performed on victims of rape and incest. The rest are abortions due to poor family planning and inconvenience.
