After the announcement of Super Junior making a comeback this year as a nine-member group, excluding KangIn and SungMin, fans have been calling for a boycott until the two members are completely removed from the group.
Label SJ announced that KangIn and SungMin would be promoting in different ways after discussing it with all the group members.
Fans have been discontent with both KangIn and SungMin for a while. The former has been involved in DUI and an alleged assault on girlfriend while the latter has been receiving criticism over not revealing marriage plans, which fans took as a sign that he did not want to communicate with them.
