This week we'll be covering BTS RM's '7' friendship ankle tattoo.

Many ARMY (BTS' fandom) know that the members have been planning to get a friendship tattoo representing the 7 of them.

At first, the members were debating what kind of tattoo to get. In a V-Live, RM said that they were debating between a few options such as starting by getting seven dots and getting something like the big dipper or getting something like the number 7. He stated that if he got the tattoo he would want it to be a simple one on his ankle.

Well, it looks like it has finally happened. Coinciding with their latest comeback with the new album "Proof", RM posted photos of his new tattoo on his Instagram story and BTS' Twitter. The reveal of his symbolic tattoo alongside the new sentiment and nostalgia-filled music hit ARMY in waves of emotion. It added to the heartfelt atmosphere in the fandom.

The tattoo not only signifies the group but the love that RM has for BTS. It also meant a lot more because it is well-known that RM once wanted to get a tattoo but didn't follow through with it because he was afraid. He was worried that he would not like the tattoo after a while but was still open to getting one.

Thus the fact that his first-ever tattoo is related to BTS and the members is that much more meaningful.
