The Actress Who Spent 10 Years In SM Entertainment As A Trainee But Left To Debut Under Different Agency
Imagine spending ten years training as an SM Entertainment trainee but leaving to a different agency later on.. Yes, ten years is quite a long time and you might be wondering why one would spend such a great deal of time somewhere but debut under a different agency.
But it’s worth keeping in mind that spending ten years as a trainee may prove to be useful as you’d learn a lot about the K-Pop industry.
Just recently, South Korean actress Gong SeungYeon has been talked about a lot lately by South Korean netizens.
She first joined SM Entertainment back in 2004 when a casting agent discovered her performing at a kayageum competition. Back then, she was chosen as one of the trainees with the best visuals within the agency.
And having spent such a long time in SM Entertainment would mean that she probably made a few friends down the road as well. It turns out that she trained with Red Velvet members Irene and SeulGi at one point as well.
And she’s also good friends with former SM idol Henry as well. According to her, she’s been friends with him for ten years straight.
Her latest work was through K-drama ‘Are You Human’ with Seo KangJoon.
