News reports of a producer physically abusing the members of K-Pop idol band The East Light has currently shaken up South Korea once again.

According to the reports, the producer strangled members with a guitar string, locked them up, and beat them with baseball bats, causing bloody injuries to the head on some occasions.

The group's leader Lee SukChul recently appeared at a press conference on October 19th and broke down while talking about how he and his fellow band mates were victims of a Media Line Entertainment producer. In addition, the CEO of the agency is reported to have known about what was going on, but did nothing to intervene.

The CEO, Lee ChangHwan, is also not just responsible for showing negligence but is also reported to have pressured SukChul into smoking when he was only in middle school. When SukChul blew into a cigarette, he claimed that Lee ChangHwan smacked the back of his head and stated "You have to suck the air in, not blow it out!".

Lee ChangHwan has currently denied all allegations.
