South Korean netizens recently randomly stumbled upon a K-Pop music program that they’ve never heard of.
Given that most K-Pop fans watch ‘Music Bank’, ‘Music Core’, and ‘Inkigayo’, it makes sense that no one’s ever heard of ‘Show Up, which is broadcasted on ETN.
In fact, many South Korean netizens have also added that they’ve never heard of the broadcasting station ETN either.
So putting aside the fact that this show is fairly unknown, it does also however present a great opportunity for struggling K-Pop idol groups. The program is described as a platform where new idol groups who are fairly unknown get the opportunity to perform on stage.
While these groups may not get the publicity that their agencies are looking for, it does help them in the sense that they still can perform and practice as well in a real-life setting.
In addition, now that ‘Show Up’ is on some people’s radars, who knows?
Also, you can also get an idea of just how many K-Pop idol groups are out there alone just by looking at so many rookie groups that are performing here.
