If you have watched "Crash Landing On You", you would remember Tang JunSang who acted as the cute Geum EunDong part of the North Korean soldiers' team.
The young Korean actor gained attention from the public with this drama. In Korea, many have been curious about his last name "Tang" which was never heard before.
He is the first actor to have this last name and there are only 5 people in Korea with this last name. Therefore, a lot of people have been curious about his unique name.
"I am Korean and it is my real name. Because my last name is special, it seems like a lot of people will remember my name."
He explained that he is an only son. His father is Malaysian Chinese and his mother is Korean so he is born in a multi-cultural family. Tang is a common last name in the Malaysian Chinese community.
Netizens solved the mystery around his name as some thought that he might be a relative of Chinese actress Tang Wei who married Korean director Kim TaeYong.
