Produce 48 has been quite entertaining so far as we've seen interesting stage performances and viewer feedback. The survival program has also managed to raise issues and controversies outside of the show that involved politics and cultural differences.
Having only just five episodes left, the show is approaching closer to its end. Despite that, it continues to not only entertain viewers but also irk them as well.
According to South Korean news agency Herald Corporation, Produce 48's MC Lee SeungGi has recently left his post due to conflicting schedules. It has been reported that Bora of the now disbanded girl group SISTAR will be temporarily filling in for the actor. Netizens believe that the actor has already filmed for the results announcement, meaning that the results for the upcoming votes have already been decided.
Netizens feel that this causes problems for a few Japanese idol trainees such as Chiba Erii and Kojima Mako who have recently arrived in South Korea but do not have any schedules like the other trainees they came with, suggesting that they returned only to face their elimination. Some have said it was possible that such is the case as they believed the producers of the show were capable of being short-sighted and incompetent, forgetting to inform certain trainees that they don't need to return since they will be eliminated.
